Our story

Finding inspiration in every turn

In 2020, Cindy and Frank founded WE DANCE School to bring together the traditions of Western and Eastern dance. Cindy is an accomplished dance teacher, devoted to teaching and to dance competitions. Her aim was never only to instruct, but to inspire.

In our studios, the fluid lines of Eastern dance meet the bold, expressive styles of the West. Classes are rigorous yet creative: students are pushed to find out what they can really do, while learning to respect the details of each dance tradition.

Families from many backgrounds have joined us since. What they share is a love of dance and a community that celebrates difference. The “WE” in our name is about exactly that.

How we teach

Clear steps for every family

  1. Start with a trial class

At the trial class the teacher sees your child dance and places them in the right level. After the trial we confirm the class with you.

  2. Learn in uniform, with focus

Ballet and jazz classes have a WE DANCE uniform. It keeps the class focused on dancing and lets teachers see and correct body lines clearly.

  3. Stay connected

Enrolled families use the WeDance Pro parent app to see their timetable. You can talk to us in English or Chinese.

RAD exams

A Registered RAD Examiner on our teaching staff

Cici (Meng Cui) is a Registered Examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance, a CBTS Supervisor and PDTD holder who trains RAD teachers, and leads the RAD Ballet Examination Programme at WE DANCE.

In the Term 3 2026 exam session our students received 54 results: 74% Distinction or High Distinction, and 100% Merit or above.

What we value

Three things you will notice in our studios

East × West

Culture without borders

Western and Eastern dance taught side by side, so students learn more than one way to move.

Rigour × Creativity

High standards, open minds

Careful technique and exam standards, alongside choreography and performance that let students express themselves.
