Book with your AI assistant

Use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other assistant to find a free studio and get the booking ready. The assistant never pays: you check the details and pay yourself.

Not switched on yet. Online booking and the AI connector are still being set up. Until then an assistant can send you a booking link (below) and you finish on our website, or send us an enquiry.

1. Just ask

Any assistant that can read websites can do this, no setup needed. Try:

“Book Classroom 3 at WE DANCE Albany next Friday 6–7:30pm.”
“Is there a free dance studio at WE DANCE in Albany on Saturday afternoon for 2 hours, and how much is it?”
“Give me a link to book the WE DANCE large studio for a rehearsal.”

The assistant gives you a link that opens our studio hire page with the room, date and time already filled in. You check it, add your details and pay there.

Weekdays: Check that the weekday matches the date on our page. The page shows the right weekday for New Zealand.

2. Connect WE DANCE to your assistant

Assistants that support custom connectors (the MCP standard) can check free times, give you an exact price and prepare a payment page without leaving the chat. You add it once.

Claude

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the MCP address below, no sign-in needed. On Team or Enterprise plans, an owner may need to add it for the organisation first.

ChatGPT

Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → turn on Developer mode → Create → paste the MCP address, authentication “No authentication”. Or build a GPT with an Action that imports the OpenAPI address below.

Gemini and others

If your assistant has no custom connectors, use “Just ask” above: it sends you the booking link. Developer tools and agent frameworks that support remote MCP servers or OpenAPI (for example Gemini CLI) can use the addresses below.

3. Safe by design

An assistant can hold a time and prepare the payment page. Only you can pay.
We never ask an assistant for your card, and it never needs it. Never give card details to a chatbot.
A time held but not paid is released automatically after about an hour.
Your booking is confirmed only after payment. Our system checks again for clashes at that moment.
